If anyone here has ever heard of the old APAzine "Scrawls from the Sprawls"
there was an article posted in it by Tom Dowd (I think) just before SRII
came out.
He let those of us in the APA test out an experimental priority system that
worked kinda like the "More metahumans" rule in the current SRII book.
The original idea was that Priority A would allow you to play "special"
metahumans - ie. vampire, were, ghoul, etc, while B would = the "normal" metas.
I played a few campaigns with this rule, and personally felt that it wasn't
too bad of a system, as long as all the campaign's PC's were generated thusly.
