Dark Elf (one post in Aztlan, witnessed the human sacrifice in the Azzie
Pyramid in Seattle) is the character of a member over on GEnie (remember
FASA@*****.com?). Vincent Espotio, I think his name is. DE set up the
Shadowtalk topic over on the Scorpia board and was one of the Shadowrun
gurus over on GEnie. His character usually ran in New York and butted heads
with Aztechnology quite a bit.

Magister is probably an elf mage. Perhaps he's an immortal elf. I'm basing
this guess on his refution of Lone Gunman's "Immortal Elf Conspiracy" in
Threats. Silicon Mage and Talon also show up quite a bit. I don't think
that Talon is an elf. Silicon Mage might be a decker/magician. Also in the
magical active posters is Whisper, who doesn't say much.

Captain Chaos is a decker based out of Denver and is originally from San
Francisco. He hates the Humanis Policlub, leading one to believe he's
either a metahuman or has close ties with some meta-humans.

Hangfire shows up quite a bit, as does Weasel Boy (or W-Boy in the Aztlan
post). Hangfire used to run with Aurora until she was killed by a blood mage.

Silk and Archangel are the same person, Toshi Akimura, who just inherited a
bunch of nuyen and some prime property from the Big DEAD.

D. Bunker shows up to, well, debunk some of the wilder theories and posts
out on Shadowland. Likewise, the Chromed Accountant shows up to discuss
economics and Legal Beagle shows up to discuss matters of law.

Tiger Faux lived in Chicago, got caught behind the CZ, ran into a Mantis
group, and somehow escaped from Chicago a few months later. [My first SR
character was named BrighTiger and my e-mail nickname is Faux Pas. For some
reason I trust this guy. Go figure.]

Other common posters:
Neon, The Kenyesian Kid, Bung, Killjoy, Tin Lizzie, Findler-Man, Brother
John (Humanis member), SocioPat, The Smiling Bandit, DCInsider, Daikoku,
Argent, Arctic White ... and that's from just three sourcebooks. Anyone
find any more?
