Actually, if you read any of the first 40 or so issues of the Marvel G.I.
Joe comic - they were fairly "normal".

Some of the characters would make decent shadowrunners.
Snake Eyes would be a great physad/martial artist, and Clutch could be a techie.

When you get right down to it, the GI Joe team really was nothing but a
large SR team anyway I suppose.
