Half yes, half no. I don't think there's any "crying spire" mentioned in
ED sourcebooks, although there was a city before the Scourge, somewhere
to the north of Barsaive, nicknamed the City of Spires. There's also a
reference in the bit about that city (in Denizens vol 1, page 26) to
Knights of the _Crimson_ Spire, who pledged their life to the preservation
of elven traditions and culture.

Nightfire seems either a street sam or a decker to me, probably a decker,
who got hired by Ares for some reason.
