The worst action I ever saw was by players in a Luxury area, they were stopped
while entering [their car wasn't classy enough], then while the policeman looked
inside he saw one of the runners [the mage] in sec. armor, so he promptly called
for backup while asking for a permit. I was then feeling lenient because the
other players were shocked as they didn't know the mage's player had outfitted
him thus. The policeman asked everyone to step down from the vehicle. the mage
stepped down promptly and grabbed [tried to] the comm from the star saying"you
better not do that"
The other characters were shocked and started running, leaving the car there. I
was unwilling to let them be captured because of another's fault [the mage could
escape easily using invisibility and levitate] so I was easy on them. They
escaped among a hail of gel rounds.[the star REALLY didn't want to geek a
passerby by accident in a Luxury area]
The mage, mournfully escaped too, after getting zapped twice by taser darts and
being at s stun and extra +4 from taser. That once I did want to kill the char.
Which I made clear in no uncertain terms when the player said he wanted to go
geek the cop that had shot the taser darts. The whole run was spoiled, though
the action Did manage to get into my "hall of infamy" and was the first and till
now only time I ever granted negative karma to a player in SR, for
single-handedly ruining an adventure and all plans the group had made.

-it had another consequence, since then there are a lot of pop-up turrets with
sentry guns [still gel rounds though] in all entries to luxury areas, and there
is some better magical security.
