I don't really worry too much about straitforward modifiers. Granted, in
general, I'm fast and loose with the rules anyways. I just decide how
difficult the test should be and assign a target number. easy run 2-4.
moderate runs 4-8. difficult can be anywhere from 8 to I think we've used a
14 before, but that was for something I really didn't want them to notice,
but at the same time, wanted to give them a fair chance. Of course,
occasionally, there is no rule. The playrs arer just outta luck...:)
