We learned Gaelic so we could converse without our GM knowing what we
were saying. It's worked like a charm. We talk quietly while his
attention is elsewhere, and tell everyone if they ask that we are
practicing our Gaelic! It *is* true.

The GM (my roomie) is very tolerant of this from me, since I dabble with
all things language.

(Oh, and Gurth, those Dutch posts were mean. I lent my sister my D-E
dictionary so she could read the fondue cookbook she got for her wedding.)
