I guess that the point is, I'm assuming (IE, my opinion and most likely
wrong) that the sniping rifles are supposed to be FASA's version of an
accurate long-range rifle. Perhaps the Ranger Arms is just a minimum
exposer murder weapon, but surely the Barret 121, a military version --
which has no silencer and doesn't break down like the Ranger -- is designed
to kill from afar. Yet, it too has relatively short ranges.

Because the rules don't reflect RL perfectly, any suprise there -- that is
why this list is in existance.
