No your GM wasn't pulling a fast one, but you still CAN find your body...it's
detailed in the SRII or Grimoir sections on Astral projection.

The solution is either know where your body IS or where it's GOING or have
something else (elemental, watcher (high force to ensure a lack of confusion)
etc..) keep tabs on it.

If you however do manage to loose your meat-body, well you have 6 hours to find
it! :)
