No, they need to have been informed. It's not good putting it in writing,
and then hiding the FAQ away. OTH, they have to be members to post... and
they get the FAQ upon subscribing, so you've got a good case. Note that
they don't have to have actually read the FAQ, or even received it at the
time of posting.
