This is not quite right - if you GROUND through it, Jane Samurai will
eat the spell (that's why Samurais should not have active spell locks
around without someone to defend it). The link this spell lock
provides is a valid link for RITUAL SORCERY to Joe Mage, though.

Actually I'd think this is not possible. You got to cast and bond the
spell yourself.

It depends on the radius of the anti-spell barrier. If the astral mage
can get inside it the spell barrier offers no protection (and if it
were a mana barrier the mage might have some problems getting
inside). If the mage is outside the barrier it offers the full
protection.
