Just a few points....remember neuromancer? to quote molly juts after case
gets access after a long time out. " the way you were stroking your deck was
almost erotic..." (that was probably wrong but the idea is there) I also seem
to remember case actually crying when he did get access again. And in a later
story (this might not have been case but it was a decker) someone hooked them
self up to a deck for something like three of four week, and was feed
intravenously....and people call me a net junkie ;-)
Bull Wb and I sympathise with you I was didcountected for nearly a month :-0
when I got a rarther large phone bill (us british have to pay for local call)
of about 180£! at the time I was earning about 13.50£ a week and I went
through a period of looking at the computer for a while (yes I was banned)
then going into my room and trying to decide which things I could sell....(dmz
was one of them). sad isn't it..
