Well, I remember some one asking a while ago about other magic
traditions. Why not simply have a bunch of fraggers running around who
think their magic abilities (both spells and physad powers) are
"Super-Hero" powers. Like he said, they grew up reading too many comic
books and maybe didn't buy into the whole "magic-mana-etc" thing..end
result they reationalize their awakened talents as "Super-Powers", don a
neon and pastel leotard and go off to "Save the World" (or destroy it, as
the case may be..)
