I thought that it stood for System Identification Number, but there again
I have been known to be wrong on many occasions. In our campaign the way we
play it is that it has replaced your passport, id-documents (here in SA you
have both - though not me), credit card, cheque etc. etc. Quite literally
it is required for anything that requires any form of proof of id, as well
as acting as a 'link' to your bank accounts. Cert. Cred (CC for short) can
be used for cash purchase for legal items, although things like cars and
very expensive items require the sin, e.g. Tri's.... where do you think
your Trid license is! etc..
