One other thing, that always bothered me:
How come the elves suddently decided that they were mythical beings, one
with magic and nature?
The first of them grew up be normal human parents, so they should have
been WASPWPE (White-Anglo-Saxon-Protestant-with-Pointed-Ears), Indians,
Greeks, Canadians, French etc., and not a new ethnical minority.
How could they suddently decide that they were all the same (ok, all
Europeans are white caucasian (mostly), but we still can't work smoothly
with each other).

Hope I made myself clear.
