That one worried me a little; There's a novel somewhere where the hero
cuts his sister free of a cocoon and the gist is that she'll live and
make a recovery....Kind of balked with the rules I'd read at the time. I
think it took an astral quest, or favour from a totem, or something
similar to do it though.
You've got to wonder if the insect spirit still lives inside her somewhere,
changing her outlook on the world, making it more alien.
