What our group ended up doing to combat the magick healing
thing was to say that *anytime* magick was used to heal, the
Physical wound became a Stun wound of equivalent power.
That eliminated the bonus for mages doing overdamage/healing,
and it also made magickal healing much less miraculous.
For example, if a character took a Serious wound and later
had it Healed completely. He would then have a Serious Stun
wound that would then heal at normal Stun rates. Much faster
than a Physical wound, but not instantaneous either. We found
that this worked well for us.
Does that help?
