Check out the right side column of P.155 of SR2. The base time
for Treat and Heal for a Light wound is 5 turns. Better have a
whole lot of success in order to do it in 3 seconds. I think the
point here is to stress to players that Treat and Heal are not
something that can be casually done in the middle of combat,
it's gonna' take some time, as these spells are not
instantaneous. Mage is gonna' be outta' commission for a while
if he has to stop and work on somebody's light wound, and if its
a deadly would, the base time is 20 turns!
