OK, a lot of you have posted that there's no way Artificer could get too
close to Damien Knight, or Dunkelzhan without detection.

I'm not buying that one.
For starters, IMO, Knight is a powerful, albeit mundane individual. Without
any experience with Horrors, He'd never know what hit him.

Why has he got mages in space?
Maybe to learn how to destroy OTHER horrors, so Artificer can keep this
plane to himself?

As for the Big D, I'm not buying the old "Dragon's are infallible" routine.
Wasn't one of the big problems with the Horrors in ED the fact that they
could infiltrate into Kaer pretty much at will?
IIRC something like 50% of all the Kaers built did NOT work!

Obviously all the great Horror detection stuff designed in ED is NOT
flawless.

As for the Otaku being connected to Leonardo, and his detecting them.
Sorry, I think he's a pompous lout who wouldn't notice crap unless it hit
him in the face.
These EI's are far too big for their britches. :-)

Just my opinions, my world works one way, yours can work another.
Thanks for all the input! :-)

Steven A. Tinner - the jets fly backwards in my world.
