I like the SR list postings, since I've been on the list. I've
picked up lots of info for my games, gotten other peoples' opinion on a
variety of subjects, talked with a writer for the Shadowrun book series
[Jak's comments were very informative, and fun to read], and gotten to
listen to all the myrid people who play the game all over [well, most]
of the world. Before this, I hadn't realized the game was so far spread.
I picked up a great bunch of guys for a PBEM [thanks, people! I'm
having a jammin time!], so I don't have time to post as much as I used
to anymore. Granted, the number of OT postings makes it difficult for
those of us who get charged by the call, and receive a ton of
correspondences every day, but I'm still very much behind the list as a
forum to shoot the bull [Not YOU, Bull; by the way, welcome back ;-].
As long as people show a little self moderation in their OT
postings [if they really have something to say, I think they should get
a chance to say it.] Flaming someone because they're only sending one
line replys, or their messages are to long column wise for some of our
mailers, is immature. A couple people told me some of the booboo's I was
making, and I corrected them[abeit with a bit of difficulty ;-}. You
gotta remember, a lot of people out there either don't understand, or
don't like RPGs in general, so we shouldn't be beating up on each
other, when we should be hanging together [this is where somebody says
'Why can't we all just get along?']
I've totally forgotten why I started this letter to begin with [I
think it was because I saw a posting that prompted it], and I've rambled
on enough as it is. Just wanted to say, i'm glad the list is here, and I
hope it stays.
Oh, by the way, I know who REALLY killed Dunkelzahn...

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away.
