Mike is in one of my groups. The only problem is, he is one of the good
guys. The other guys are much worse. In the game with Mike, only two
people ever clashed, and killed each other. That was in Ivy and Chrome
too. It wasn't a quick, oh hey, he pissed me off, I think I'll kill him
type thing. It was long and drawn out, finally building to a climax during
I&C. With the other world, people kill each other all the time. Part of
that can be attributed to GMs, but I think they just like to kill each
other. I understand charcter killing and stuff, but it really kinda sucks
when your character gets wasted cause someone didn't like you.

I'm having a lot of fun in my group at the moment. My character (a young
orc ganger) is having a major personality clash with the rigger of our
group. We met when we were hired for the same job. When things started
going up the shit I was able to call a few of my gang to pull me out. Our
rigger wasn't happy with things so I pulled a gun barrel to his head. Thus
we parted ways.

To keep the group sort of togrther our GM made us competitors on the same
case trying to force clues to specific characters to force us to team-up in
order to solve the problem. Unfortunately for our GM we didn't bite but the
ingenious bastard of a GM gave me a job putting a hit on our rigger's
mother. Of course, being a good son, the rigger turns up as me & some
friends try to pump mother for the info on why our Johnson wants her dead.
He puts a burst of flettchette into me from a sliver gun which i some how
survive. Mom broke up the fight & i got some magic healing. Now Mom has
hired us that was to kill her for a job against the corp (Mitsuhama) that
wants her dead. So we fake Mom's death on a live news broadcast to collect
from mitsuhama while the rest raid the premises.
So now we are working together in an uneasy truce.

enough story.
The point is the tension and threat of death like this has made the gaming
very interesting. Our GM hates us for it but has done a great job running
with it.

One question to those running "moral" campaigns: How do your gruops get the
job done?

The nature of the work shadowrunners do mean they need to be sadistic
bastards much of the time. Those who want moral campaigns must be lucky to
do a single hit all campaign. Did I really need to kill that guard in the
side corridor? Can I do it aghain? oh, woe is me. What a wank
