Anyways waht I was saying was in our game, we use the basic etiquette
skill and then the one starting concentration. In other words, for 5
skills points, a character would start with something like Etiquette 4
- Street 6.
Then, in game play I just play it like on a skill web. So if the above
character were in a Corp situation, he could roll his base Etiquette
at +2 or the Street concentration at +4.
This only seems fair to the players, and it's worked out just fine so
far. Every module and sourcebook seems to keep adding to the list of
possible concentrations. There'd be no realistic way for them to plan
for it and not be penalized. I've seen Street, Corp, Media, High
Society, Yakuza, Mafia, Military, Elven, Matrix, Magical, and so on...
Anyways, that's my 2¥ worth.
