Best advice I can give is to convert the spells whole-cloth by
re-designing them. It will provide the best and most consistent results.
I am not sure that there is any otehr way of reasonable conversions of
SR1 spells to SR2 spells because of the serious re-vamping that FASA did
on the SR1 Magic system. There might be details in the back of the SR2
main manual (Sourcebook Updates).
