Assuming that laquer doesn't stuff up the polymer, just use normal
automotive gloss enamel, or two-pak. If you want it to be scratch
resistant, just apply lots of the stuff, and be prepared to polish the
paintwork. (Which most riggers should preffer to do instead of more
'organic' entertainment, anyway).

(Or...heh.... you could dikote the panels for that extra munchikinny edge)

I agree that street index shouldn't apply; It's definitely a 'legal'
application of the polymer coating, at least compared to armoured suits. You
would however need the equivalent of a vehicle and electronics facility
to do the job; Hooking it up wouldn't be like applying a coat of paint.

You wouldn't need image scanners either, unless you wanted the car to be
truly 'sky blue'. The colour change information could probably be handled
by a pocket calculator.

I guess if I"m playing SR again, I'll keep an eye out for a Jackrabbit
done up to look like a scrolling road hazard sign. Or a fractal image.

(If you've ever wanted to abuse the other drivers, this is the perfect
way to do it)
