Sounds a little like my PhysAd cat burglar, he's only got a Firearms skill
to be able to fire his grappling gun :)

Now this sounds a little like my new character Mirage who is a SFX guy and
spook - he also has a deck but it isn't much cop. He has a Make up skill
of 5 so he'd be very much like Simon Templar in that he'd have a set of
different identities.

My only other character whihc touches on this sort of thing was Cameron
MacDonnel a follower on the Path of the North (see Tir nA nOg). He never
carried guns and if he picked one up mid run he'd dispose of it almost
immediately after use. He used throwing knives but also gained a
reputation for improvised weapons e.g.

Whilst attempting to quickly and non-lethally take down a book store owner
Cameron asked to buy a book, requested some money off it as teh cover was
damaged and when the store owner looked close to see teh 'damage' Cameron
smacked the book hard from teh other side and stunned teh fellow nicely.

Cameron also took some guy out by offering some guy a drink from his jar
of Guiness and when the guy reached over to take a sip teh glass got
shoved into his face.

At a fancy dress party he went as a jester with a staff with a lightbulb
on the end, when caught in a fight the light bulb was smashed in a guy's
face and then teh broken remains used as a weapon.

Not particularly nice but all used unusual items as weapons :)
