Well it's me the person with no brain again just logging on to
prove just that. I thought I'd go ahead and share what I came up with
on my own, plus hand over a couple more questions that have most likely
been asked on this list twenty or so times.

On the question of whether or not Replaced Muscles can be
augmented (and I don't think it can work the other way around for those
who said something along those lines...replaced is replaced, not added
like the augmentation) I really think it depends on how you view Muscle
Replacement. Taken one way, it could herald the beginnings of
Bioware...it is vat-grown synthetic tissue that works like normal
muscle, combined with calcium treatments and others for skeletal
reinforcement. It just doesn't sound like metal to me. Given the
description of Muscle Augmentation, "a biological weaving
treatment...incorporated into existing tissue", I would have to rule, at
least in my game, that one can augment previously replaced muscle. (As a
sidenote, I also rule that to increase strength after modifications
requires a karma cost equal to the enhanced level. For example, a
person with Muscle Augmentation 2 has a 4 (6) strength, it would take
_14_ karma points for being beyond racial maximum).

Whew.

Now for my next two questions. First off, I've just noticed
this whole Gas Vent thing. Since I am starting my campaign in 2051 and
Improved stuff isn't available as of yet, my players are forced to stick
to the original gas venting systems. However, the description of the
gas vents on page 240 SRII gives different Recoil Ratings than the chart
on page 256 SRII. I was wondering which set was the more popular.

And my last question. I have a troll in the group. Just how
long do you think it would be before corporations realize that they have
missed a large target group here in the market of small arms? How many
times have you been reading along in a story and the troll couldn't fit
his fingers around the puny gun? So...I was wondering on the usefulness
of troll sized grips, handles, and calibers. Think about it. The troll
security guard brings to bear his FIR 4 gauge Auto-shotgun but thinks
better of it because his buds are near. Oh well, he's always got his
.55 Hammer Special in his side holster (and just how many shots could
that clip in the handle hold anyway?).

Just stuff.

Steve...who has nothing better to do at 4:42 in the morning.
