But the subject as I understood it was not really "decking" (check
subject), which means they wouldn't be interfacing.

Yeah, that's kinda what I was pokin' at. I'd say that anything you could
store and send out independently (maybe even a DINABed program) would be
usable. I've gotta do some poking around VR2.0 to support another idea,
but there's probably more forthcoming.
