Shadowrun Companion. I admit to being a little skeptical at first [I've
a VERY KISS mentality], but Drekhead convinced me to try it. And it's
works out pretty, IMHO. Allows a little more fine tuning of characters
on generation, but still comparible to the more 'blockier' A,B,C,D,E
Method currently in SR2. Takes about as long, too [BIG plus! Any time it
takes more than seven hours to generate a character, you just need to
drop the system!].
New and desirable doesn't automatically mean bad, and if it comes
right down to it being 'overbalancing', I can introduce you to a gamer
who could take EVERY SR generation system listed, and STILL churn out
something so horrifying, it'll be giving your GM nightmares for weeks to
come!
Any system can be abused. You don't sensor the system, you monitor
the players.
