Wellll ... I know most folks don't count FASA novels as canon, but what
about module covers?
Those trogs on the cover of Dreamchipper sure as shit look green to me! ;-)

Ultimately IMO, it's a "Who cares?" topic.
If you like green orcs, use 'em.
If not frag 'em.
No major game change either way.
