I imagine the Mana level falls, no more metahuman babies are born.
All the Meta's that exist already are suddenly shocked, nay, dismayed to
find that they're giving birth to human kiddies.....

Oh, and magic stops working without some serious cajoaling.....

I doubt it....
There've been numerous examples of "Spike" babies, and they existed quite
nicely for a few years before Magic REALLY started to rise.

Would they de-UGE, or
|de-goblinise, and become humans again? Would they just continue on the
|way they've been so far?

I'd personally say they'd live out their lives, seeing humans overrun their
world before dying of old age.... Or not, in the case of our old chums the
IE.....
