||It would make much more sense to have the disease give a small amount
||of damage (Light or maybe Moderate) every couple of days, the Power
|Level
||getting higher for every new resistance test against it. That way the
||virus has a time to spread and infect other people.
|
|well for *normal* diseases this would work but I get the feeling that
|this is not normal, but if you think about it, it is comunicable, and
|12 hours to transmit it to someone else this could spread verry rapidly
|and you wouldn't even know you had it for 12 hours, how many people do
|you see in 12 hours? howabout the normal wage slave in a packed office?
|This would spread and I could easily see it wiping out large numers of
|people in short time.
|just one more side.

Another thought to add to your paranoia....
VITAS turned up suddenly....
It swept the continents and wiped out billions... Right????

Now, how about this for conjecture?

VITAS has been with us all along. Infecting, causing sniffles and generally
making people feel under the weather....

Then along comes Magic, activates a few latent genes in the VITAS, and
KABLOOEE, we have a full blown pandemic on our hands....

(After all, not all creatures awoke at the same time... The millemium
mouse?/shrew?/whatever it was is the best example.....)
