Before the American remake of 'La Femme Nikita' was made, a Hong
Kong version was produced called 'Black Cat'. It was a bit more faithful
to the original french movie, but, as with all Hong Kong actioners, had
much more gunplay and explosions [whoohoo!]. And there's one or two
additional twists.
A sequel was spawned, called aptly 'Black Cat 2'. This one deviated
a bit from the first, but is still worth seeing as there's actually a
bit of protocyberware enhancement involved, making her much more
dangerous than before [she'd started to develop a bit too much free will
in the first movie :-].
I'd rank the movies in order of quality:

La Femme Nikita
Black Cat
Black Cat 2
Point of No Return

I leave La Femme Nikita, The Series out of it, as it's an excellent
series on its own, and has been renewed for a second season.
