Hello. This is my first post. I've been lurking for a week or so. Good stuff,
BTW.
A little about myself: I've been playing RPGs for about twelve years,
primarily AD&D, but I've been Running the Shadows for about five years, now.

On to the topic:
I can't believe no one has mentioned From Dusk til Dawn. I've seen this movie
at least ten times(six in theaters) and I think it'd make a great Shadowrun
adventure, especially for the shock factor!! <BIG EVIL GRIN> I plan on
running my players through something VERY similar. :[~
Also Pulp Fiction (somewhat), Reservoir Dogs (a lot), and Jhonny Mnemonic (a
lot) are good idea-machines, especially for organization(the first two) and a
vision of the dark future, cyber included(J.M.). I made some rules up for a
Doubler, but seem to have lost them. Nice piece of work, though. I love
decking. My last character, now living in Denver, is a Dwarven Decker from
Jamaica, named Gimli. And he has a frame named Legolas. <g> He was a lot of
fun, mon! Speaking of Decking: Hackers and Sneakers are good..As is Tek
War(tv show)...Seriously!

Anyway, If I think of any other movies, and I'm sure I will, then I'll let
ya'll know.

BTW, The Assassin was the International title. I have a friend from Trinidad
and that's what it was titled there. I think it has something to do with
copyright infringements, but I'm not real sure.

Thanks and Adieu,
Gimli Gloinson, Dwarven Decker
