Depends on how strong you are, as the rules adjust for. I'm not that
strong IRL, and it generally took me about two seconds or so to get on
target again.

Not long at all with a pistol. A second or two, but I wasn't anywhere
near an expert gunman. A rifle is a bit longer, but not much. Using a
scope it can be much longer until you're used to it.

As in it's in your hand by your side? Not long at all, but getting it on
target took *ME* a while longer.

As long as it takes to pull the trigger! :) Add a little if you want it
to go roughly in the right direction. :P

As I said, though, I've never been that great with guns. And I'm WAAAY
out of practice now.
