Subject: Building a better bike

Anyone who has watched the Robotech Masters/Southern Cross stuff will know
where I'm heading when I say that I want to make a Hover-Bike for SR.

Unfortunately ... I have NO idea how to start.

What chassis would be appropriate for this task, Bike, or Hovercraft?
Neither really fits the bill, although IMO Bike seems the more likely
candidate.

I'm fishing for suggestions here ...
