I really enjoyed the book, despite having done little more than skim
through it tonday and reading most of the Shadowtalk. However, I really
like it.
I loved how they presented Piracy, and they really help expand the concept
of smuggling and such through the seas. Several things I wanted but didn;t
get, though...
More "Personal" type boats and large yachts. The boats seem to run from a
small two person yacht/fishing boat, to a somewhat larger boat, to
Freighters and such... With the prices going from 3 Mill to 30 Mill... I
wanted something in between :/ Oh well...
ANyways... Here's a little spoiler space...

Ok... There were a couple things that truly tickled me about the book...
The main thing was the damned cool ShadowTalk. Between Harley and Orange
Queen (Ania?), to Nightfire and Neon Samurai sparring, to all the frigging
twinks boasting about their skills, it made for a really enjoyable read. :]
Especially when Harley started taunting the Conspiracy theorists about
Immortals and such. I also loved the touch where the Laughing Man (his
Tagline was HA! Fraggin' HA! :]) basically outlines the plot of Jurrasic
Park to tease them, saying the island really did exist and there were still
Dinos there. Of course, since we've run the Jurassic Run already, we
already knew this to be true :]
I also loved the new stuff... the Edges and Flaws, the new Totems,
Spirits, Critters, etc. Much fun... I also really liked the follow up on
one of the will items, the Talon CLippings to the leader of the Houngan.
Since there wasn;t a leader at the time, the various Voudoun dudes have
been duking it out trying to take control...:]
All in all, much fun! Well worth the cash :]
