what is the "rule" as far as learning spells? I am confused because I
have
heard different things. I guess spell formulas and force ratings must also
enter the discussion.
If magician X has a spell formula of max rating 5 for spell Z, does he pay
5 karma to get the spell at rating 5 (if he currently had not rating or any
other rating in the spell besides 4)? Does he have to pay for each force
level for the spell?
Example:
Bob wants to learn Death Touch with a Force of 5. He has an appropriate
formula, and has Death Touch at Force 1. How much karma does it cost to get
to 5? 5 or 14?
