It depends on the character in question. IMHO, totems can be whatever the
character in question wants. Awakenings mentions having totems from super
heroes on Trid and all sorts of weird things. So if, for some unknown
reason, wood had a special significance to a character and this same
character was capable of magic, then they shoold be perfectly entitled to
have wood as a totem. I admit though, that having all wood as being
important or significant would be a bit strange, but not impossible.
