Operation - PARTY !!!

Location : Seattle, Fort Lewis
Numbers : About 2000 - 2500 shamans
Time : On a Saturday from 9.00am to Sunday 9.00am.

Planning -
Security - Planning to be contracted out to Wild Cat security (the
other GM's players security company). They may assist with the
security, hopefully in co-operation with the Metroplex Guard.
Security arrangements to cover physical security only. Matrix
security is unnecessary and Magical security will be provided by all
attending. The location chosen will contain copses of trees but will
have clear and open borders. It will be free of medicine lodges at
the time of choosing.
Food & Drink - Will be provided free of charge
as part of the entry fee. There will also be toilet and rubbish
facilities. Left-over food will be donated to orphanages in the
Seattle area.
Entertainment - Several live bands to be hired and
dance floors to be set up. There will also be crafting displays and
space will be designated where people may exchange knowledge, skills
and useful tips if they want. Spell casting areas will be set aside
for people who wish to practice or demonstrate their spells or
skills. Any magical group in the city is free to attend and
advertise their existence. If any person/group wishes to set up a
medicine lodge on the grounds of the party then please request this
in advance. Any unauthorised medicine lodges in the area before the
start of the party will be disassembled and the materials stored for
one month for the owner to reclaim. The materials will then be
placed back in the location of the unauthorised medcine lodge and
left.
Stalls - All Talismongers are invited. Licensed talismongers
will be allowed to set up stalls advertising or selling their wares.
The organiser will not charge for this under the agreement that a
copy of all spell / focus formulae acquired as a result of the party
will be donated to her. All transactions occurring at the party
will be registered with Lone Star
Transport -If no convenient bus service exists then an additional
stop on an existing route will be negotiated and advertised. Towards
the end of the party taxis can be called free of charge at the exit.

Booking - Messages to be passed via Talismongers, E-Mail to a drop
box or by astral projection to a watcher in Snohomish at a fixed
location. Fee will be 60¥ 'on the door', 45¥ for advance bookings.
Advance bookings via talismongers only. Fee covers a single entry.
Re-entry must be cleared with the guards at the entrance before
departure. Hermetic mages are allowed but please leave elementals at
home and remember that this party was organised for shamans.
Hermetic surcharge of 10¥.
Anyone or anything not covered on the above list please ask in
advance for your entrance fee.

Rules for attendees - After entering the designated party area all
spell casting to be confined to designated (warded) casting areas,
the spell to start and finish within the same area. All participants
are requested to provide spell defence / shielding any targets of
spells outside of these areas. All attendees to wear some symbol
identifying their affiliation. All transactions with talismongers
within the party area will be registered with Lone Star. Everybody
is requested to help keep the planet c an and deposit all rubbish in
the bins provided. The organiser reserves the right to refuse or
revoke admittance to anybody or anything without giving a reason.
Any advance fee paid will be refunded if entrance is refused.


After party tidy up -
In addition to payment for the work provided all personnel acting as
security staff will be given tickets. On the day after the party
these tickets can be used to get into pre-booked entertainment venues
were the ticket can be exchanged for a free first ink of any standard
type. Depending on unexpected costs following the party (e.g. injury
payments to guests etc.) pre-booked venues will be closed for private
parties and the entertainment will be subsidised. Suggestions for
venues will be taken anonymo ly by the organiser from all personnel
involved and a list of all pre-booked venues will be given out on the
morning of the party.
