The lethality isn't consistent. I had a situation in my last game where I
had some difficulty wounding a PC by having a ganger fire a shotgun (8S) at
him. On the other hand, healing takes too long for any character with more
than about 3 points of essence installed that wounding someone mid-run
means that they are going to spend the rest of the session at a wound
penalty, which is always bad.
I think that the lethality of the system is OK on a gross level, but it
breaks down when the characters have a much higher skill/stat level than
their opposition, and there are curious side-effects of some of the rules.
