Jon, IMHO, the current lethality of the game is just fine ... of the players
here in our home game, they would consider the game way to lethal ... they
keep saying that we are trying to kill the characters ... we are ... we are
also trying to get them to feel the game, not just play it and roll dice to
determine things ...

So I say leave the game where it is currently ... let the GM's determine how
lethal their game is going to be ... the players want it easy then let it be
easy ... the players don't care then make it hard on them, and make them work
for what they want ...
