However there are certain holes that most people would like to see fixed or
at least tweaked. House rules are by no means a indication of a poor gm.
They tend to spring from what a given group feels needs tweaking or is
something that the just don't like. Or they are meant to close a loophole
that let's abusive players run amok. Most of the house rules in my personal
experience are hold overs from 1st edition which the players like better or
just never quit using. If you want to use only the main book by all means do
so. But don't insult the rest of use who make use of them.

Like I said just my two bits.
