Not to be rude, but it seems that most of what you have to say seems to be
backed up by vague and thin references to Tom Dowd and Paul Hume. Not to
criticize them or to take away from the fact that they were partly
responsible for creating the game, but let's face it. the game has
outgrown them. Niether is involved in SR anymore, and Paul is no longer
involved with FASA at all (And it's been heavily hinted at that the parting
wasn;t... amiable.). Tom is still there, but is now working in the
computer department.

Time to let go of your hero worship and get on with things... Use the
rules, fine. But don;t quote them at me or anyone else and expect them to
have much weight. Mike Mulvhill (The current Line Editor), Steve Kenson
(Mr. magic and fellow Listmember) and Jon Szeto (Mr. Rigger and fellow
listmember, as you found out the hard way) all carry MUCH more weight as
far as ruling go, especially Steve and Jon, since they are current FASA
Freelancers. I'll take anything they say over old supposed quotes from
days gone by...
