I suggest you reconsider what you have just said, the very same rules used for
MIJI from R2 can be applied to spirits and spells ... with some examples ...

1. Someone casts a spell at someone ... another mage uses thier masking to
make someone else look exactly like the person the spell is being flung at ...
these two people are standing really close to each other ... which person does
the spell go after ?

2. A spirit, say force 5, on astral patrol, could have their perceptions
messed with by a mage (capable of conjuring) to make them believe that him/her
and the rest of the people with them all belong here ... or to make it appear
that the spirit has located intruders in some other part of the compound ...

3. An astral CCSS system is possible, you are looking at a broad AoE
Clairvoyance spell (like the extended range version) ... or perhaps even using
conjured spirits and using several services to set up a constant link with the
summoner to form the CCSS system ...

Let your mind wander and consider the possibilities before saying that
something is not possible ...

> Oh, it's still a nifty idea, just not in this particular example.

Actually, fooling around with spirits and their perceptions has been done here
for some years ... and always resulted on some funny moments along the way
(especially the time one of the players tried it and failed, and then tried to
correct the mistake a couple of seconds later) ... very funny ...

Ummm ... I don't get it ...
