|Claudia Christian (who played 'Ivanova' through the first four seasons)
|missed the Season-Five casting call (apparently she wanted to pursue
|movie projects, though why she couldn't wait one more season I don't
|know). The character has been replaced by Captain Elizabeth Lochley
|(played by Tracy Scoggins), the station commander(?) though she
|apparently appears only in a few episodes.

|GRRRR!!!! One more season wasn't much to ask, was it?

Apparently, that's only part of the story.
She got greedy, and they refused to renew her contract cos her price was too
high....

That's what I've heard anyway.
