I like non lethal combat as well. As you say, especially useful when you
realize that you made a mistake and shot someone you'd have done better to
have befriended. A non lethal attack gives you a chance to repant and make
things better, lethal attacks leave able to repant...
In a recent ShadowPunk game my character, A Fixer, carried a weapon that
resembled a SMG, but fired shells that contained flechetes. I'd normally
have sleep flechetes loaded. I also carried Berserk flechetes, used them on
one of my team members [at his request] when we were involved in a massive
shoot out and he needed the boost.
I miss the days of SR1 when a Mage/Shaman who was in Astral space could
target a someone, or thing, in mundane space, by taking a lethal drain
instead of a stun drain.
