And since Jett was helpful enough to change the subject line for me,
has anyone considered what the next big board craze would be in 205X?

I was thinking, wouldn't it be cool if there were air-cushion/ground
effect driven boards, similar in concept to the Microskimer drone,
execpt sleeker and designed for a person to stand on? The fun thing
is, if you take certain liberties with R2 vehicle construction rules,
you can base these things off of a large skimmer chassis.

I had the stats for one of these worked out somewhere, but the numbers
I'd worked out were for the 'muchkin extreme' end of the scale (I was
running various scenarios through the R2 construction rules, to see if
I could break them.)

So, what do you all think, are skim-boards just a silly idea, or is
there some merit to the concept?
