Perhaps the cyberware IS powered by bioelectric fields of the body. If
one is using super conductors, given the inetial down time after surgery
and probobly "charging up" after instalation isn't it possible that the
battery is "topped off" when a person is sleeping and the body produces
more bioelectric current and uses less of it?
