Well, I don't quite agree. Magic is based
on the harnessing of Mana into a form to be
used. As you all know, Hermetics used
"mathematical/scientific" concepts and
constructs for their spells. Shamans use
beliefs and instinct. These beliefs come from a
totem who most closely aligns with them. A
Tamagotchi Totem can be one of entertainment and
a Totem of Man. Dog is a helper of Man and a
very good Totem. A Tamagotchi one is a Totem of
Man and is aligned with Man's technology and/or
science.
In Awakenings I think is a short story
about some psycho who became Talented due to his
own beliefs in some wierd made-up Pagan God. He
was able to cst spells and do Magic. He was
also a homicidal maniac, but that's beside the
point.
Personally, I don't like the idea of a
Tamagotchi Totem, but to each his/her/it's own.
Just hope and pray the GM likes it. If not,
then....... HAHAHAHAHAHA! Sorry, my maniacal
side slips out once in a while.

No, this trick won't work... How on earth are
you ever going to
explain in terms of chemistry and physics as
important a
biological phenomenon as first love?
