Ok, before this goes much further, I suppose I should step in and
explain a few things, as I am the boy's GM.

First of, in real life Demos is a good friend of mine, and has been
for a long time.

I have a small group of four players, and unfortunately there aren't
too many other gamers in the area that play Shadowrun or anything else
we're really interested in. The group is amazingly diverse as far as
personalities and gaming styles, and sometimes I'm surprised that
we've managed to stay together for as long as we have as a group
(Going on 5 years now).

Demos tends to be a bit of a "rules lawyer" at times, which frustrates
me to no end because he comes up with some amazingly cool but twisted
ideas that are not specifically against the rules, though the rules
don't always support the ideas either. He's a good player, but wants
to run some really bizarre ideas sometimes. And like most creative
people, he's a bit overenthusiastic about his ideas and doesn;t
always understand that when i say that something can't work or I won't
allow it, he tries to find justification within the rules. And
occasionally I will allow something if he can justify it to my
satisfaction.

He's not even the worst of my group, unfortunately. I have two
kill-happy players who are barely reformed hack-n-slash Monty Haul
AD&D players, and my fourth goes in the opposite direction, being too
much of a Role Player and trying to "talk" and negotiate with everyone
and everything.

I suppose it could be worse, though.

So bear with us, please. Demos will probably occcasionally badger you
with stupid or annoying ideas, and I'll probably be the typical
harried GM who gets his plots shot to hell by his players. ;-)
